Textile Art and Mixed Media

Colour, texture and pattern excite me, and the tactile quality of fabric and thread provide the means by which I can express my creativity.

I also enjoy experimenting with different materials, and have painted, printed, dyed and distressed to produce unique results.

Although I will usually have a starting point for each project, the techniques that I use will often give results that surprise me, and this stimulates a more intuitive approach to my work.
